Well the night time longs for the day
And if you wait every shade of paint will fade
If I look run down, weary, or just plainly spent
It's not because I awoke from my sleep and left my room in the early morning
Well my baby don't like when I stay out late
And I don't blame her if she fancies it that way
Still hardly have I been the one to take
To crawling on all fours on the sidewalk, seeing double, spinning freely in the moonlight
Do you look fondly on the day you tried to remember the way
It felt to relive all the times you don't recall?
That you don't recall?
It's not quite heaven but you've come here for the view
Spend all your time chasing things that never move
You don't know yesterday until it's been so long
And you don't know what leaving really means until you're finally up and gone
A beautiful album. Sounds like it was made in the sixties. It's got rock 'n roll and romance and everything in between. I had a hard time picking my favorite track -Friend or Foe, Jump Down Baby, The Key, because there are so many great tracks on this album. Harrie Snels
I had the pleasure of seeing him perform live in San Diego in a very intimate set. His music just brings me a deep state of comfort, like listening to a friend.
